On October 13, 2023, a celebration of the 55th anniversary of the delivery of the first products at the Hydrometallurgical Plant of Tselinnyi (now Stepnogorskyi) Mining and Chemical Plant took place in Stepnogorsk (Republic of Kazakhstan). The veterans of the plant were welcomed by the Akim of Stepnogorsk Alpysbay Kairzhanov, the Director General of the plant Zhandos Bekbayev, other leaders of the city and the plant. The First Deputy Chairman of the IUVNEI B.O. Duisebaev and Member of the International Secretariat of the Union N.P. Kornev congratulated the veterans and presented them with medals of the IUVNEI.
