On October 11, 2023, аn international conference was held in Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan.
It was organized by the International Union of Veterans of Nuclear Energy and Industry (IUVNEI), with the support of the Nuclear Society of Kazakhstan.
The topic of the conference - "STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF NUCLEAR ENERGY IN THE CENTRAL ASIAN REGION, AND ASSISTANCE OF VETERAN ORGANIZATIONS TO THE ACCEPTANCE BY THE POPULATION OF THE ACCELERATED DEVELOPMENT OF NUCLEAR ENERGY AND INDUSTRY".
The conference was attended by representatives of veterans' organizations from Belarus, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan,
Uzbekistan, as well as by representatives of CIS and leading Russian organizations and enterprises of the nuclear industry.
