On April 16, 2024, in Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan, the International Union of Veterans of Nuclear Energy and Industry, together with the Union of Veterans, Scientists and Workers of the Nuclear Industry formed at the Agency for Chemical, Biological, Radiation and Nuclear Safety of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, is holding an international conference "Uranium Legacy of the Soviet Union in Central Asia: Problems and Solutions". The conference program is being formed.
